JOHN RAE ARCTIC ALE 4.4 % ABV 

Long Strides is our new Arctic Ale celebrating the life of John Rae, Orkney's Victorian Artic Hero! 

Long Strides is a golden pale ale (ABV 4.4%) with hop characteristics of mango, pineapple and apricot in the aroma with flavours of tropical fruits, lemon and pine to follow.

 This beer was created to raise awareness and funding in support of the John Rae Society who are in the process of renovating Rae’s former home at Clestrain Hall with the goal of turning it into a public learning centre. The next step will be to improve the access road, dubbed the ‘Road to the Arctic’.
